This is our premium, “saw it on Pinterest” designer fence! Built with vertical, pressure-treated, kiln-dried yellow pine, cedar, or white oak pickets, boxed in with horizontal face plates at the top and bottom, and finished with a sturdy top rail. Add cedar post caps to complete the look! Lighting options are also available for the post caps. Every piece is fastened with high-quality, treated screws (sizes vary depending on the application).

Coming in a close second—and with a significant price difference—this fence delivers the best value for your money.

It features manicured, pressure-treated, kiln-dried yellow pine, white oak, or cedar slats, installed horizontally with a 1.75-inch gap to form the face wall. For added privacy and stability, we first fasten a layer of cedar or oak 2x4s between the posts, which serve as nailers and create a privacy blind. Seam plates (1x4s) cover the posts, ending cleanly into a 2x6 top rail. The structure is initially secured with exterior framing nails during installation, then reinforced with deck screws for long-lasting durability.

Tier 3:

A classic, no-frills picket fence. Constructed with 2x4 pressure-treated pine fastened horizontally between posts as nailers, and 1x6 pressure-treated cedar pickets attached with a nail gun (modifiers available).
